We picked up a to go order on the way down 59 from Houston to Burkeville Tx. My hope is to make this our new stop on the way home. Since 2020, fried chicken has been slacking. My hope has been restored. Large perfectly fried pieces. We got a 10 piece mixed. We made sides at home. Believe it or not, the chicken was still warm when we arrived home. Please consider a franchise near Jasper Tx.

Love everything about this place. My fish was hot and fresh. My fries were perfectly cooked and the roll is always the "cherry on top"! I can't forget to mention the sweet tea!! Best this side of the river!
